Retail Asia Expo 2016, Hong Kong, 14-16 June 2016

Partnering with Intel, onActivity showcased 2 new retail experience at Retail Asia Expo 2016, 14-16 June, at HKCEC – Book of Secrets Touch Wall and Kaleidoscope Digital Signage Display Wall – to demonstrate how retailers can better engage customers with innovative, interactive setups which can be easily applied in shops.

Book of Secrets Touch Wall – A 2.8 metre wide interactive touch wall composed of a touch screen in the centre with 4 thematic books – Children, Cooking, Science, and Travel. When visitors select a specific category of book, e.g. Children, from the touch screen, the corresponding area will light up and visitors can play with different interactive effects by touching the wall graphics.  This brings retail promotion to a new dimension – displays are not limited to screens, but can be integrated with the shop’s interior decoration.


Kaleidoscope Digital Signage Display Wall – a special shaped video wall formed by five 46-inches screens achieving a 6K by 3K image space. This shows that digital contents can be adapted to different display formats and screen shapes, making it a versatile tool for retail promotions.

These innovative systems are powered by Intel Architecture players, while software development and system integration are executed by onActivity.
