onActivity demonstrated the “Smart Ambassador” solution in the Intel® Networking event, ISE 2017, held at Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam on 8th Feb 2017.
Based on Intel’s latest SDM platform, Smart Ambassador Solution is developed by integrating face recognition to digital signage. When Smart Ambassador system is installed in the department store, customers will be able to select a shop at the e-Directory and in doing so their faces are registered to the system. When they pass by another signage, their faces will be recognized and the shop / product info related to their browsing history will pop up on the screens, motivating them to make purchase.
This smart signage system is a very effective in-store marketing tool for retail. Sales result will be improved as a result of such targeted marketing.
