AI Kung Fu – Projection Mapping with AI technology
Our installation is called “Cohesion” – projection mapping integrated with AI, which simulates Hong Kong kung fu movies back in the 1960’s where “animations” would appear in fighting scenes. When visitors approach the setup, a sensor detects them and projects their presence as groups of particles on the large screen. At the same time a small screen instructs them to perform kung fu actions / gestures, and when they move, the particles on the screen would transform to different shapes and forms to reflect their motion. If two persons “fight”, the two groups of particles also fight!
